IRC Provisioning System for WHMCS v 5 Development – Design Updates
With the recent public release of the IRC Provisioning System for WHMCS, Version 4.5, our Development Team is actively working on the next version, 5.0. We're excited about the upcoming changes, and wanted to share some key information with our users. Version 5.0 is going to be a complete overhaul, enhancing the backend communication methods, improving security, and streamlining the process. Along with these changes, we're also bringing some new information in-line, and enhanced management options.
Here's a quick look at the early development work, specifically on the ConfigServers page of WHMCS.
Here's what we've added:
- Operating System Details are easily viewable.
- System Load Times are reflected
- Current logged in user count
- A rundown of the Remote Statistics (Account Total, and a breakdown of ZNC and SSH based accounts)\
- A link to the ZNC Web Panel with Automatic Login (when configured properly and confirmed as available from the Server Client)
- A link to the Server Details page (an existing page within the IRC Provisioning System for WHMCS.
Communication Update
We're re-writing the system from the ground up, changing from using SQL-based communication to a custom API integration. This new method will allow the ServerClient to communicate with the system in a significantly more secure method. This updated method should improve security, ease of setup, and reduce the requirements to integrate with the system.
Keep checking back for more information on Version 5, the major changes that are coming, and how you can join the beta (when we're ready for that step)!
