IRC Clients – Login Notifications (beta)

Virtual Hosting Company has been hard at work on the IRC Provisioning System v5.0.  One of the major new features in the ability for our Clients to get Login Notifications when someone connects to their IRC Shell or IRC Server Shell Solution.  We've rolled this functionality out to all of our IRC-related hosting packages, in beta, so that our users can start getting these notifications if they so desire.

To enable this functionality, clients need to create a new .Notify file using the following command:

cd ~
touch .Notify

Once enabled, clients may disable this notification with the following command:

cd ~
rm .Notify

We'll be implementing Shell Commands to handle this process for our customers in the near future; however, we wanted to get this functionality live and available to our Clients as quickly as possible.
